Check-out Time: 9:00 AM the following Saturday May 1st

The base is ~20 minutes from the airport, and 5 minutes from the ferry terminal by car.

Supermarket before departure

Just a 3-minute walk from the marina, you will find Darling Supermarket to get any last-minute items. We encourage all guests to make a stop before boarding.

We recommend looking into checking bottles on your flight, as it may be cheaper. However, you will find alcoholic beverages at the supermarket.

Fuel, Water & Power

  • We’ll fuel the boat at the end; you’ll split fuel costs with your crew.

  • Fresh water and shore power are available at the base.

Theme nights

  • Cocktail Night: Each boat creates a signature cocktail to be judged by the Share the Sail crew!

  • Tropical Jungle Night: Animal prints, wild outfits, Tarzan/Jane vibes!

  • Old School Sailor Night: Classic navy uniforms, tattoos (fake or real)!

  • Cruisers Award Night: Think your boat has the best decor? Think you would win best dinghy captain? Prizes will be given out on our final night during our award ceremony

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We heavily recommend getting travel insurance. We urge people to get the standard option at least. This is World Nomads, our top recommended travel insurance company.

Packing & Luggage

  • Soft-sided bags only – no hard suitcases onboard

  • Bring lightweight clothing, water shoes, reef-safe sunscreen

  • Voltage: 220V – bring a Type E or C plug adapter for devices

Local Etiquette & Tips

  • Cover up (t-shirt/shorts) when visiting villages

  • Avoid collecting shells or coral

  • Don’t wear swimsuits in town areas

  • Respect marine reserves and mooring zones

  • Reef fish are not safe to eat due to possible ciguatera toxin

Additional Costs

  • Recommended tip for Captain $150–$200 per person

  • Estimated fuel costs $25–$60 per person

  • Estimated Mooring Ball costs $25–$60 per person

  • Dinners: eat dinner at a local restaurant or cook with your boatmates

If you are a certified diver, please let us know. We will be doing a few dives on this trip, and you must provide us with your certification card.
